You can add new organisations from the main menu along the top of the page by clicking on “Contacts”, then on “Organisations” and finally on “Add New” from the resulting drop down menu. Add as much, or as little, information to your organisation as necessary, and when you’re happy with your data, press the save button at the bottom of the page.
A very low barrier to data entry means more data, faster – though it must also be considered that the more information you feed into a CRM, the more you are able to get out of it. We would advise that the following fields are the minimum which should be added to a new organisation:
- Organisation Name
Be sure to also check the “owner” field to make sure the correct user is assigned this record.
